I am new user of csync, and trying to use it for setting up roaming profile on Linux.

What I do is that I have a local folder (profile) as /home/local/DOMAIN/USER and mount server user folder (profile) using SAMBA via pam_mount to /home/roaming/DOMAIN/USER and use csync to sync the two folders.

However, it fails when I try to sync between two computers:

csync.propagator - RENAME is only supported on local filesystem.
csync.propagator - Renaming (null) => (null)
csync.propagator - FAIL RENAME: .cache/upstart/indicator-sound.log.6.gz
csync.api - Propagation for local replica took 0.00 seconds visiting 2838 files.
csync_propagate: Bad address

Details of the samba mount:

//SERVER.lan/testuser on /home/roaming/SERVER/testuser type cifs (rw,relatime,vers=2.0,sec=ntlmssp,cache=strict,username=testuser,domain=SERVER,uid=1274545246,forceuid,gid=1274544641,forcegid,addr=,file_mode=0755,dir_mode=0755,nounix,serverino,mapposix,rsize=65536,wsize=65536,echo_interval=60,actimeo=1)

Thanks for the tool, it looks like the ideal one to implement roaming profile on linux.
